The Best Easy Air Fryer French Fries
Ingredients
3 large russet potatoes
2-3 Tbsp olive oil
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions
Slice the Potatoes into fries. I don't worry too much, about the size of fry I am making, some are bigger and some are smaller. It will be okay.
Place the potatoes in a nice cool water bath. Make sure they are completely submerged.
Let fries sit one hour. This step helps remove the excess starch so they will be more crisp.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°.
After an hour, drain the water and make sure you pat them dry with a paper towel.
Toss the potatoes with the olive oil, salt and pepper.
Add fries to the air fryer basket or tray in a single layer.
Cook 15-20 minutes until crispy and brown.
Keep the warm on a baking sheet lined with paper towels and a cooling rack over it. Place in a warm oven. Now you can continue to the next batch.
These fries are excellent with the Cheeseburger Sliders I have posted or you can eat them on their own as a snack. They are good anytime of the day.
