Crispy and Delicious: How to Cook Frozen Dumplings, Pot Stickers, Gyoza, and Wontons in an Air Fryer

Updated: Jan 19

Air fried frozen dumplings or pot stickers are fantastic! They are so easy and quick to make. Beware: they are addictive and you may want to eat the whole bag.

I saw in my freezer a bag of Pot Stickers I had forgotten about so I decided to make them one day for a snack. I pulled my air fryer out and cooked these in no time.

Air fried frozen dumplings are super easy. Remember to spray the oil on top of the frozen dumplings so they cook crispy and not dry. You do not want dry and tough dumplings.

Air Fryer Frozen Dumplings, Pot Stickers, Gyoza, Wontons

Ingredients

  • Frozen Dumplings

  • Spray Oil

Directions

  1. Place the frozen dumplings in the air fryer basket or if you have an air fryer like mine then put them on the trays. Make sure they are in a single layer. Spray liberally with oil to completely coat the dumplings.

  2. Air fry at 380° for 6-8 minutes. Check after the first 6 minutes to make sure they don't burn. All air fryers are different and some cook hotter than others. Flip the dumplings over and continue to air fry at 380° for another 2-6 minutes if needed until they are crispy on the outside.

Allow them to cool for a bit. Serve with soy sauce or Sweet Chili Sauce. Recipe is coming for the Sweet Chili Sauce.
