This recipe can be done on a weeknight and on your table in a jiffy. Your family will love every bite.
Years ago we visited my Grandma Siers and she asked my youngest son, Aaron, what he would like to eat. He said, Chicken and Dumplings. I do not remember my Grandma ever making chicken and dumplings so I started to get nervous. Well, there was use in that nonsense as I was thinking to myself, This lady can cook anything and it is always good. So, I bit my tongue and she whipped up some chicken and dumplings that were the best ones Aaron says he has ever had.
A couple of months ago Aaron and I were talking and he brought this memory up. After about 20 years he still remembers the taste he says. I got off the phone and really wanted some Chicken and Dumplings. My grandson, Noah, was here and I decided to make some. He has the same reaction Aaron did. The best ones he has ever had. Anytime Noah isn't feel well he calls for some chicken and dumplings. I do not know how she made the rest of the dish but I do know she used flour tortillas and I did some tasting along the way to try to get it as close to hers as possible. Remember, love is a seasoning and it can be tasted.
My prayer is your family enjoys them as much as we do.
